NCNA Confirms Location & Dates for 2019 Convention
The annual North Carolina Numismatic Association Convention and Show will return to the Cabarrus Arena & Convention Center, 4751 Highway 49 N in Concord, NC in October 2019. The three-day Convention will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 4, 5 and 6. The show will open each day at 10:00am; closing time on Friday and Saturday will be 6:00pm, on Sunday it will be 3:00pm.
The 2019 bourse will feature approximately 75 dealers occupying 100 tables and representing ten states. Bourse Chair Perry Siegel is hard at work for 2019, and already has several new dealers to offer even more variety for collectors.
The Convention will feature US, world and ancient coins, paper money and stamps. Educational seminars will take place on Saturday afternoon and a variety of educational exhibits will be displayed throughout the weekend. The NCNA Annual Benefit Auction will close on Saturday at 5:00 pm. There will also be an onsite grading service.
The well-received and attended “Kids Connection” area for young collectors and their parents will return in 2019 with a host of fun and educational activities for those 17 and younger. Bob Pedolsky, the newly appointed Young Collectors Coordinator, will be introducing many new ideas which have been proven successful in his same role with the Charlotte Coin Club.
The .annual NCNA General Membership meeting will be held on Saturday at 8:30am. Further details regarding the Convention will be released as they become available.
