Get your calendar marked for the 2022 64th Annual North Carolina Numismatic Association (NCNA) Convention. It happens soon!! The Convention will feature a wonderful variety of coins, but not only coins and bullion. We will also have dealers with paper money and stamps/postcards. Colonial banknotes, Civil War banknotes, and Obsolete currency. Fascinating reminders of American History that you can hold in your hands! Ancient and foreign coins as well. Check. And of course all the US coins you care to see. Double check. 150 tables with dealers setting up from 12 different states.
The show starts September 30th and runs through October 2nd. Doors open to the public at 10am every day. Wanna see everything before the general public? Early Birds pay $50 to attend on Thursday, September 29th from 3-8 pm. Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord, N.C. Free admission. Cabarrus Arena does charge $7 for parking, but pick up your $7 voucher at registration to use with any participating dealer. Please note Cabarrus Arena is also a cashless facility for parking and concessions. However, your cash is absolutely accepted by any dealer in attendance!
There will be education presentations Friday and Saturday. Be sure to check out the educational exhibits that will be displayed throughout the show. There will also be dedicated activities and presentations for any and all young numismatists!
